What is Exponent?
An exponent tells you how many times to multiply a number by itself. In x^n, x is the base and n is the exponent. For example, 2^10 = 1024 means 2 multiplied by itself 10 times.
Formula
x^n = x × x × x ... (n times) x^0 = 1 (any number to the power 0 is 1) x^(-n) = 1/x^n x^(1/2) = √x
